Independence Day Celebration

   Session 2022-23 started on 4^th august. The very first item presented by the dance department is “Independence Day” 50 students of PCM S.D. College participated. This item was much appreciate by all.

Youth Festival 2022

 

   

Students of PCM S.D. College participated in youth festival 17^th Nov 2022. “Luddi” was presented by the department. Students of various streams performed in the item. This item was performed in GNU.

 

Classical dance was performed by “Samratha” of B.A- III Sem . She banged IIItd Position in Zonal Youth Festival

Batch Ceremony 2022

 

               Batch ceremony was organized for the best student in Dance on 5^th October.

Republic Day 2023

 

                                        

    Students of various streams presented “Patriotic” duet dance on Republic day. This item was very much applause by all.

                             Farewell  2023

                                                            

         On the occasion of Alumni students of dance presented duet dance on “Radha Krishan”.

   

                                             Fete 2023

                                                            

On the occasion of “Fete” ‘Luddi’ dance was presented by the students of PCM S.D. college. It was presented on 11^th March.

 

                                                         Convocation 2023

                                                 

On the occasion of Convocation classical dance was presented by “Samratha”. This dance was very well applaused by all. It was performed on 21^st Feb 2023.

                                                      Prize Distribution 2023

 

                                     

 On the occasion of prize distribution function “Haryanvi Dance” was performed by the students of PCM S.D. college Jalandhar. It was presented on 22^nd Feb 2023.

                                                    Inter College Competition2023

                                                             

  Samratha Participated in solo dance competition arranged by C.T. group Jalandhar and got 1^st prize in this category.

Department organized a webinar on “कत्थक नृत्य की परम्परा एवं वर्तमान मे कत्थक का बदलता स्वरूप", keynote speaker is Dr. Prem Dave, Professor department of Dance , University of Rajastjan, Jaipur.
